Village of Red Hook Trustee Charlie Laing Monthly Reports July
Materials Management
In the month of July the Village Highway Dept collected 2.27 tons of recycling (1.2 tons of comingled; 0.46 tons of cardboard; and 0.61 tons of paper). The Village also collected 4.37 tons of garbage which was transported to UCRRA at a total cost of $785.54 ($502.55 in tipping fees and $33.92 of fuel surcharge). Unfortunately the Village was also charged $2.44 for
contaminated recycling which is the second month in a row this has happened. The Village also paid $246.63 in monthly fees for use of the Welsh dumpster service. Over the course of the month the Village collected $2,927 from sale of garbage tags, broken down as follows: $2,510 at Village Hall; $0 from Taste Budds; $417 from the Red Hook Public Library.

Saw Kill Watershed Community
The SKWC Leadership Committee met on July 24 in the Village Hall to continue discussion of organizational needs and priorities for 2024.

No meetings in the month of July. Still unclear that they have had a meeting recently but the current balance of the CPF is $2,982,968.51.
