Village retirees on Medicare are covered under the CDPHP Medicare Advantage Plan 201.[24]
Sick Leave Bank Policy — Full-Time Employees
The Village has adopted a Sick Leave Bank Policy allowing full-time employees who have exhausted their leave benefits and face severe loss of income to receive voluntary donations of sick days from other full-time employees with accumulated leave.[26]

Temporary Part-Time Building/Planning/Zoning Clerk (Katie Khakhar)

Life Insurance Plan for Full-Time Employees

Non-Union Call-In Minimum Pay Policy
When a non-union Village employee is called in to work as an exception, for an emergency, or for a small amount of work outside normal hours, the employee shall receive a minimum of 1 hour of pay at the employee's standard pay rate.[14]
Police Life Insurance Policy
The Village renews the Police life insurance policy as required by the Police Department Union Contract.[15]

The Village has adopted a Standard Work Day and Reporting Resolution establishing standard work days and reporting requirements for elected and appointed officials for retirement purposes.[9]

The Village's health insurance is provided through an MVP health insurance contract, as authorized by the Board.[7]

Non-Union Longevity Pay
Non-union full-time employees receive longevity pay at $0.50/hour increments for every 5 years of full-time service, up to 25 years of employment.[5]

Office Staff Meeting Compensation Minimum
Office staff shall receive a minimum of 2 hours of compensation for attendance at village, zoning, and planning board meetings.[3]
Non-Union Vacation Time — Five-to-Ten Year Tier
Non-union full-time employees receive one additional day of vacation after the five-year anniversary and one additional day per year up to the ten-year anniversary, for a maximum of four weeks of vacation at the ten-year mark. Vacation time is non-cumulative.[4]

A dedicated checking account funded with $22,707.20 (CD check 23682023) is maintained to pay health insurance deductibles as they come in for Village employees.[2]

Health insurance deductibles shall not exceed $1,000.00 for highway employees and $750.00 for police and office employees. Employees submit receipts to the Village Clerk for reimbursement.[1]
