RESOLVED
- The Mayor is authorized to proceed with the process to hire a Full Time Treasurer at $30/hour with 15% contribution toward health insurance from the employee, starting work no earlier than January 6, 2025
- The budget will be adjusted when the new Treasurer is hired, and the actual additional costs are clear
- The Village has been fortunate to have the talents and expertise and style of Lori Urbin as our Treasurer for the past two years and thanks her for her service

- WHEREAS, the current Treasurer, Lori Urbin, has submitted her resignation effective April 7, 2025 with her last day of work being April 3rd
- WHEREAS, after discussion and review of the list of duties, it has determined that the Village would benefit from having a Full Time Treasurer
- WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed the additional cost of a Full Time Treasurer and understands that the additional cost for FY2024-25 if starting January 6, 2025 will range from $23,000 to $31,000
- WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed the budget and recognizes that there is @ $10,000 available within the existing Treasurer & Clerk budgets in the General, Water, & Sewer Funds
- WHEREAS, the Board has approved paying for the Planning Work using ARPA funding at a prior meeting, meaning that the $25,000 in the budget for Planning is available to cover the remaining extra cost
