Village of Red Hook SEWER PHASE II REPORT March/Early April 2026
In our ongoing search for funding, I reached out the Congressman Pat Ryan’s office to see about the possibility of grant funding for our Sewer Phase II project. I filled out a form for their Community Project Fund (CPF) grant program at their suggestion.
The week of March 30, a member of the Congressman’s office called to see about having the Congressman come to Red Hook to take a tour of the current WWTP and also the Cookingham/RUPCO/Gateway North property the following week. It took some time to finalize the date and time which ended up being Monday, SS . i ae April 6 in the afternoon. eh she —— om * ~
I did invite all of the trustees to join the tour and luckily Deputy Mayor Kjarval, Trustee Allen and Trustee Rothstein were able to join. A good opportunity to learn a little more about both the WWTP operations and the Gateway North property.
We will hopefully hear in a few weeks whether or not our project made the CPF cut! The Congressman’s team told us that they requested $2MM.
