Purpose and Results

This report contains the analytical data for the sample(s) identified on the attached chain-of-custody received in our laboratory on July 23, 2025 and listed below. The project was identified as your project: Wastewater 2025 .

The analyses were conducted utilizing appropriate EPA, Standard Methods, and ASTM methods as detailed in the data summary tables.

All samples were received in proper condition meeting the customary acceptance requirements for environmental samples except those indicated under the Sample and Analysis Qualifiers section of this report.

All analyses met the method and laboratory standard operating procedure requirements except as indicated by any data flags, the meaning of which are explained in the Sample and Data Qualifiers Relating to This Work Order section of this report and case narrative if applicable.

Analyte is not certified or the state of the samples origination does not offer certification for the Analyte.

MCL

The Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) is the maximum concentration of a chemical that is allowed in public drinking water systems. The MCL is established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Some states have MCLs that are equal to or less than the Federally established MCL. The listed MCL value reflects the MCL established by the State where the sample was taken.

General Notes for N5G0643

  1. The RLs and MDLs (Reporting Limit and Method Detection Limit respectively) reported are adjusted for any dilution necessary due to the levels of target and/or non-target analytes and matrix interference. The RL(REPORTING LIMIT) is based upon the lowest standard utilized for the calibration where applicable.

  2. Samples are retained for a period of thirty days after submittal of report, unless other arrangements are made.

  3. York's liability for the above data is limited to the dollar value paid to York for the referenced project.

  4. This report shall not be reproduced without the written approval of York Analytical Laboratories, Inc.

  5. All analyses conducted met method or Laboratory SOP requirements. See the Sample and Data Qualifiers Section for further information.

  6. It is noted that no analyses reported herein were subcontracted to another laboratory, unless noted in the report.

  7. This report reflects results that relate only to the samples submitted on the attached chain-of-custody form(s) received by York.

The document transitioned from a narrative Water Department Report to a formal DRIP Water Treatment Plant Monthly Operation Report.

  • Title changed from 'Water Department Report — September 2025' to 'DRIP Water Treatment Plant Monthly Operation Report — September 2025'
  • Document status changed from a narrative report to 'Pending Review'
  • Added specific operational metrics: 'Average Chlorine Residual at Entry Point: 1.83 mg/L', 'Minimum Chlorine Residual at Entry Point: 1.71 mg/L', and 'Total Treated Volume of Water this Month: 6,808,646 Gallons'
  • Removed narrative text regarding South Rt. 9 leaks, meter reading corrections, and the Red Hook Country Inn fire suppression line

There71 wasmg/L a**Average leakDaily onTreated South Rt. 9 in frontVolume of GoldenWater** Wok.226,955 Turned out the leak was from a gooseneck connection to a building that used to be roughly where the MHVFCU Bank drive-thru is now. The leak was fixed overnight on Sept 10[th] . Rich Winter from Rural Water aided the team during the emergency fix. There are two flow meters at the Water Treatment Plant: one where the water comes in from the wells, and one right before the water heads out into distribution in our system. We had been reading the flow meter at the entry from the wells. The proper meter to read is prior to distribution. In reading the distribution meter, it was discovered that there was a valve that was open so that a portion of the water was not running through the distribution meter. That valve has now been closed, and the water treatment readings are now being taken from the distribution meter. Chlorine residuals have been good. There is discussion of whether we need an automatic flushing hydrant at the end of the system in one or two locations where there is no loop in the system. More to follow on this. We discussed prioritizing meter replacements to cell meters in the Sewer District. If there is a water leak or a toilet breaks as happened in an apartment building, the cell meter allows for immediate reading of water use which helped identify and locate the leak. This extra water was running into the WWTP, increasing the daily flow leading to the full use of the extra EQ tank. Following up on a reported internal water leak at the Red Hook Country Inn, it was determined that there is a separate 4” water line from the water main in Rt. 9 to the Inn that is used to supply their fire suppression system. It is not connected to their regular water supply. This connection is now shown on our water system map. There may be others like this. We will record them as we discover them. At the Water Treatment Plant, a check valve is scheduled to be installed. There are check valves at each of the Wells, but there is not one in the Plant itself. All the parts are here. Due to other emergency work, this work is now expected to be completed in October. We have now switched our lab for both water and sewer samples to AG. The document transitioned from a summary status report to a detailed New York State Department of Health Water Systems Operation Report.

  • Title changed from 'DRIP Water Treatment Plant Monthly Operation Report — September 2025' to 'Water Systems Operation Report'
  • Document status changed from 'Pending Review' to a formal state-issued report format
  • Added detailed daily breakdown of treated water volumes, chlorine residuals, and source water types
  • Expanded reporting scope to include specific source water types (Surface, Ground, GWUDI) and county information (Dutchess)

There was a~~ **Address:**leak ~~eG~~on 4South CommerceRt. Street9 **Address:**in Villagefront of Golden Wok. Turned out the leak was from a gooseneck connection to a building that used to be roughly where the MHVFCU Bank drive-thru is now.
