RESOLUTION TO TEMPORARILY HALT INSTALLATIONS OF TREES AND BENCHES IN THE RICHARD M. ABRAHAMS MEMORIAL PARK

Resolution #41-2025 — 2025-10-06

WHEREAS

  • the Village has been accepting donations for installing memorial trees and benches in Abrahams Park for many years
  • the Board is currently working on a Master Plan for Abrahams Park
  • continuing to install trees and benches in the current manner may conflict with design considerations for Abrahams Park
  • the Board seeks to avoid having to relocate installations due to any such conflict

RESOLVED

  • the Village of Red Hook Board of Trustees hereby restricts any new installations of trees and benches in Abrahams Park until the completion of its Master Plan
