RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A SICK LEAVE BANK POLICY FOR FULLTIME VILLAGE OF RED HOOK EMPLOYEES
Resolution #18-2025 — 2025-05-12
WHEREAS
- there may be times when a full–time Village employee has exhausted their leave benefits and would otherwise be subject to a severe loss of income during a continuing absence from work
- other full–time Village employees may have accumulated a significant amount of sick leave and be willing to voluntarily donate some sick days to another employee in need
- a policy to allow for the creation of a sick leave bank allows for the opportunity to support a fellow employee should the need arise
RESOLVED
- that the attached Sick Leave Bank Policy be adopted for the Village of Red Hook, and become effective immediately
