You are notified that Owner has accepted your Bid dated 09/20/2023 for the above Contract, and that you are the Successful Bidder and are awarded a Contract for the project titled:

Village of Red Hook – Water System SCADA Upgrades – 1E

NOTE: The furnishing and installation of all conduits and conductors for the fiber and spares to each well location as shown on Drawing E-1 and E-3 shall be included in the scope of work as awarded.

The Contract Price of the awarded Contract is $416,700.00 . Contract Price is subject to adjustment based on the provisions of the Contract.

One (1) unexecuted copy of the Contract Documents accompanies this Notice of Award or has been transmitted or made available to the Bidder electronically.

  • Drawings will be delivered separately from the other Contract Documents.

You must comply with the following conditions precedent within 15 days of the date of receipt of this Notice of Award:

  1. Deliver to Owner Three (3) counterparts of the Agreement, signed by Bidder (as Contractor).

  2. Deliver with the signed Agreement(s) the Contract security (such as required performance and payment bonds) and insurance documentation, as specified in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions, Articles 2 and 6.

  3. Other conditions precedent (if any): MWBE Utilization Plan submission for approval by the EFC. Note that approval from the EFC is required prior to payment of the first payment application.

Failure to comply with these conditions within the time specified will entitle the Owner to consider the Bidder in default, annul this Notice of Award, and declare the Bid security forfeited.

Within 10 days after you comply with the above conditions, Owner will return to you one fully signed counterpart of the Agreement, together with any additional copies of the Contract Documents as indicated in Paragraph 2.02 of the General Conditions.

## **Public Spaces Initiative October Board Update** - Ash Bradley‐Rickard, Chair - Perry Allen - Linda DiGasper - Betsy Brauer - Polina Malikin - Nicole Rogers - Trustee Steven Appenzeller, Liaison **Mission** To develop and facilitate the creation of public park, art, and community spaces throughout the Village of Red Hook **Public Meetings** are held the 4th Saturday of each month at 10 am, in person at the Village Hall unless otherwise noted (email Ash Bradley‐Rickard for the meeting location). ## **October 21[st] Fall Pumpkin Event – Pumpkins in the Park** 1PSI had a successful Pumpkins in the park event with over 50 attendees, despite the dreary weather of the weekend. TwoPumpkins preschoolswere haveprovided agreedby Kesicke farm at wholesale cost and they were beautiful pumpkins! Although not all pumpkins got decorated, the extras were put to par�cipateuse forin thedecorating event,sites Funshine and Li�leFeet with volunteers and supplies 2. PSI has reached out to mul�ple farms and grocers for wholesale pumpkins and is wai�ng for responses. Follow ups will be sent this week 3. Portapo�y has been secured with ADA accessibility 4. Flyers have been designed and printed for public pos�ng througharound the village, including Village Hall and submissionMemorial Park. The event was made possible by the hard work of everyone on the PSI team. Planning for next year’s event will start over the winter to eventsincorporate lessons learned and broaden the base of business and community organization participation. 5. Date set as Oct 21[st] , from 1 pm to 3 pm ## **Pollinator Pathway** 1The PSI started off with a focus on pollinators and pollinator gardens and want to maintain that as one of its core activities. MembersWork areis finalizingunderway submissionto for Village ofget Red Hook page on the Pollinator Pathway websiteof New York and there should be an active page sometime next year. Planning for a garden area around Village Hall and in Abraham’s park is also underway, and grant funding opportunities will be submi�ng this month for approval. 2explored. HaveThere hadcontinues posi�veto be great feedback this year from the RHCCpollinator andgarden at the Elmendorf Inn on the gardens currently established. ## **Abraham’s Park Project** 1. Members have been mee�ng with the Mayor and other Village and Town representa�ves to help with the vision for the Park. 2. HadThe aresults from the successful survey set up during Hardscrabble dayDay withwill communitybe feedbackshared later this year. ## **Bard College** 1.Ash met with a Bard collegeclass hason reachedNovember 2[nd] to discuss how to work with local governments and submit proposals for Art installations in public spaces. The class is looking to do their final project with outdoor artwork using Abraham’s Park as the venue. Ash also met with the Mayor to look over the code developed when the Village had sculpture Expos and what forms need to be filled out forwhen informa�onrequesting onthe outdooruse artof installa�ons 2Village property. This year’s project will not be able to be an extended exhibit, but the class is hoping to do a day of install, critique and deinstall sometime during the week of December 7[th] . Additional details will be shared as planning proceeds. PSI will also be looking at working towith helpother documentarts what is needed by Village from ar�sts or others when applying to have an installa�on ororganizations for usingadditional Villageart spaceinstallations next year.
