Official Village Fee Schedule
The Board adopted an updated Village Fee Schedule for permits, applications, licenses, records, inspections, and other municipal services, effective June 1, 2026. All prior fee schedules or portions thereof inconsistent with this resolution are superseded as of that date. The Village Clerk is directed to maintain the adopted fee schedule in official records and make it available for public inspection.[21]

Internally Illuminated Window Signs
The Board adopted Local Law No. 1 of 2023 permitting non-residential uses to install one internally illuminated window sign not to exceed 1.5 square feet, subject to specified conditions. Only one such sign is permitted per non-residential entity.[16]
Stop Work Order — Fee to Lift
A fee of $250 for lifting a stop work order was added to the Building, Planning & Zoning Department Fee Schedule, effective immediately upon adoption on July 10, 2023.[17]

The Board adopted Local Law No. 2 of 2022, entitled "A Local Law to Amend the Official Zoning Map of the Village of Red Hook, Create the Gateway Business District, and Make Other Associated Changes." The Board overrode the recommendations of the Dutchess County Department of Planning and Development and issued a Negative Declaration finding no significant adverse environmental impacts.[12]
Zoning Map Typographical Corrections and Artisan Salesroom Definition
The Board adopted Local Law No. 3 of 2022 to correct typographical errors on the Zoning Map with respect to certain tax parcel numbers and to provide a definition for "salesroom or shops of a builder, contractor or artisan" as a use already permitted in the Gateway Business District.[14]
Escrow Requirement for Zoning and Building Applications
The Building, Planning & Zoning Department fee schedule includes a note that escrow may be required in connection with applicable permit and application fees.[13]

The Board adopted a local law modifying provisions of the Zoning Law regarding motor vehicle service stations and nonconforming uses and structures, consistent with the Village's Comprehensive Plan. A Negative Declaration was issued finding no significant adverse environmental impacts.[11]

The Board approved the revised zoning map dated October 4, 2012 as the official zoning map of the Village of Red Hook, aligning zoning districts with existing property boundary lines, and authorized filing of the map in the Office of the Village Clerk. The Board reaffirmed the original October 4, 2010 negative declaration in connection with this adoption.[7]

Zoning lots A, B, and C on Firehouse Lane are classified in the NMU (Neighborhood Mixed Use) zone. LC zone line revisions include a reference to the wetland overlay map for future consideration.[6]

Zoning Fee Revenue Increase — Anderson Commons
Superseded by subsequent fee schedule updates. This resolution increased zoning fee revenue in anticipation of Anderson Commons building permits and increased development activity.[4]
