The Mayor is authorized to hire a Full-Time Treasurer at $30/hour with a 15% employee contribution toward health insurance, starting work no earlier than January 6, 2025. The budget is to be adjusted when the new Treasurer is hired and actual additional costs are clear.[17]

A part-time Zoning Enforcement Officer position is established at 15 hours per week to address the increased number of permits and complaints.[13]
Fire Inspector Appointment
Clark Kimble is appointed as Fire Inspector for the Village of Red Hook.[14]
Building Inspector, Code & Zoning Enforcement Officer Appointment
Gary Beck is appointed as Building Inspector, Code Enforcement Officer, and Zoning Enforcement Officer for the Village of Red Hook, with Z3 Consultants, Inc. authorized to provide these services.[14]

Pursuant to Village Law §3-300(2)(a), all appointed officers of the Village of Red Hook need not reside in the Village, but may reside anywhere in the County of Dutchess, State of New York.[7]
