Police Reform and Reinvention Plan
The Village of Red Hook has adopted the "Village of Red Hook – Police Reform and Reinvention Project – 2021 Official Plan," developed in collaboration with the Dutchess County Police Reform Collaborative and incorporating community input, stakeholder feedback, and public hearings.[19]

The Mayor was authorized to sign and file the plan certification form with the NYS Division of the Budget prior to April 1, 2021. Filing deadline passed; the underlying Plan remains adopted.[19]
CIT-BEAT Training Authorization – Calendar Year 2021
Funding was authorized for paid Crisis Intervention Training (CIT-BEAT) for police officers for calendar year 2021. Expired December 31, 2021.[20]

Police Officer 3% Hourly Increase MOA (2020–2021)
A 3% hourly increase for police officers was authorized for the 2020–2021 budget year via a one-year Memorandum of Agreement. Expired June 30, 2021.[16]
UPSEU CBA Extension Through May 2021
The Collective Bargaining Agreement with UPSEU was extended with a 3% raise and no other changes, through May 31, 2021. Expired May 31, 2021 and superseded by the 2021 CBA.[17]
Police Body-Worn Camera Purchase (2020)
Eight body-worn cameras were purchased from Watchguard under State Contract PM 21090 for $12,895.00. Superseded by the 2021 body camera service agreement.[18]

A five-year lease of a 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan from Ford Motor Credit Company was authorized, with 5 annual payments of $9,497.49 (gross cost $42,444.99). Lease expired approximately February 13, 2022.[13]

The Town of Red Hook's annual contractual obligation to the Village Police Department was reduced from $60,000 to $50,000, resulting in fewer police shifts. Superseded by the 2025 Police Services Agreement.[9]

Village/Town Police Services Contract – $60,000 Annual Rate
A revised police services contract with the Town of Red Hook was approved at $60,000 annually, including court officer fees and a 30-day termination provision. Superseded by the 2012 amendment reducing the rate to $50,000.[6]
