RESOLVED

  1. the Village Board hereby creates of the position of Full-Time Police Lieutenant
  2. the Village Board sets the salary for the position of Full-Time Police Lieutenant and Full-Time Police Sergeant as per the proposed Memorandum of Agreement with the United Public Service Employees Union annexed hereto
  3. the Village Board temporarily appoints Sergeant Patrick Hildenbrand to the position of Full-Time Police Lieutenant upon creation effective June 1, 2023
  4. the Village Board temporarily appoints Police Officer Travis Sterritt to the position of Full-Time Police Sergeant effective June 1, 2023
  5. the Village Board will make the appropriate modifications to the 2023–2024 adopted budget with a separate budget modification resolution
  6. all other benefits and pay rates will be as stated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement dated June 1, 2021 and as negotiated with the applicable union representative
  7. the Village Board authorizes Mayor Smythe or her designee to execute and file any appropriate documentation to effectuate the terms of this resolution

  • WHEREAS, the Village Board has discussed the creation of the position of Full-Time Police Lieutenant and would like to create the position, as permitted under applicable New York State Law
