VILLAGE GREEN COMMITTEE

  • Fall Planting Day this year will take place on Saturday, November 8th at 9am.

  • The VGC has begun pre-production for the event, involving close coordination between committee members, Clerk, Highway Foreman, me as Liaison, and our residents.

  • The following are locations currently being considered or confirmed for planting:

2 Fraleigh St 9 Fraleigh St 41 Fraleigh St 78 Fraleigh St 7488 S. Broadway 7369 S. Broadway 63 E. Market 1 in Memorial Park 35 Benner Rd. 2 or 3 near Glen Pond Dr.

  • It’s not too late to request a tree. If any resident you know is interested in receiving a complimentary deciduous tree to be planted within the Village right-of-way, please contact me or the Clerk no later than tomorrow - Tuesday, September 9th.

  • The VGC will next meet this Sunday, September 14th at 6pm in the Village Courtroom. This is a public meeting, and all are welcome to attend. An agenda (or, “super cool to do list”) will be published in advance. It’s low key, low commitment, with a great group of collaborators. Come by!

##WHEREAS **VILLAGE OF RED HOOK RESOLUTION # ___ clauses: - 2026** # **DATED: APRIL 13, 2026** A meeting of the Village of Red Hook was convened in public session at the Village Hall, 7467 South Broadway, Red Hook, NY on April 13, 2026. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Smythe. ## **RESOLUTION TO ADOPT 2026-2027 BUDGET.** WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees (Board) has received and reviewed the tentative budget and held a public hearing on April 13, 2026 on same; and WHEREAS, - funding lines and expense lines have been developed, reviewed and established in Board Workshop Meetings to reflect income projections and expenses from trending and history; and WHEREAS, - the Village’'s budget has three areas: General Fund; Water Fund, and Sewer Fund; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, clauses: - The resulting general fund budget will be within the NYS Comptroller Formula for the tax cap. The General Fund budget will be $2,652,305.50; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, - the water fund budget and the sewer fund budget will be as follows: Water Fund at $598,100, and sewer at $451,490; And, - those General Fund, Water Fund, and SewerWater Fund budgets are hereby adopted with the Treasurer to be fully advised and authorized to proceed accordingly.
