Re: Follow-up Compliance Inspection Village of Red Hook WWTP SPDES # NY0271420

Dear Village Officials:

On July 15, 2025, an annual inspection of the above referenced facility was performed to evaluate compliance with the State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit and Article 17 of the NYS Environmental Conservation Law. A copy of the inspection report is enclosed for your information.

The facility was generally found to be operating in a satisfactory manner, and no major deficiencies were noted at the time of inspection. The Department acknowledges that the facility recently undertook several operational and maintenance measures to comply with the SPDES permit and the Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law (ECL). Please note that the Department will monitor the facility’s compliance with its SPDES permit.

If you have any questions, please contact me at (845) 256-3147.

Sincerely,

Vijay Gandhi EPS 1

Note-CaCO3 blockage had to be physically removed; adding physical quill inspection to routine maintenance items as new operator will be taking over 8/1/2025. Replacement quill will be removable to allow for inspection, original injector was hard piped with no ability for inspection. MCL The Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) is the maximum concentration of a chemical that is allowed in public drinking water systems. The MCL is established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Some states have MCLs that are equal to or less than the Federally established MCL. The listed MCL value reflects the MCL established by the State where the sample was taken. ## **General Notes for** 1. The RLs and MDLs (Reporting Limit and Method Detection Limit respectively) reported are adjusted for any dilution necessary due to the levels of target and/or non-target analytes and matrix interference. The RL(REPORTING LIMIT) is based upon the lowest standard utilized for the calibration where applicable. 2. Samples are retained for a period of thirty days after submittal of report, unless other arrangements are made. 3. York's liability for the above data is limited to the dollar value paid to York for the referenced project. 4. This report shall not be reproduced without the written approval of York Analytical Laboratories, Inc. 5. All analyses conducted met method or Laboratory SOP requirements. See the Sample and Data Qualifiers Section for further information. 6. It is noted that no analyses reported herein were subcontracted to another laboratory, unless noted in the report. 7. This report reflects results that relate only to the samples submitted on the attached chain-of-custody form(s) received by York. ## **Approved By:** Cassie Mosher Chemistry Director Phil Murphy Interim Microbiology Director **==> picture [152 x 36] intentionally omitted <==** **==> picture [156 x 30] intentionally omitted <==** **Date:** July 24, 2025 56 Church Hill Road #2 (203) 270-9973 Newtown, CT 06470 FAX (203) 270-3348 ClientServices@yorklab.com Page 4 of 5 www.YORKLAB.com Page 5 of 5 Language & Accessibility Options Info@Redhooknyvillage.Org Logout DRIP **==> picture [38 x 38] intentionally omitted <==** **==> picture [43 x 31] intentionally omitted <==** ## Document Upload Successful ## Document ## **Document Name** 7-2025 MOR 20250804.pdf ## **PWS ID Number** NY1302775 ## **DocumentType** Monthly Operation Report **Uploaded By** info@redhooknyvillage.org **Upload Date** 8/8/2025 11:53:10 AM Upload another document Return home Language & Accessibility Options Info@Redhooknyvillage.Org Logout DRIP **==> picture [38 x 38] intentionally omitted <==** **==> picture [43 x 31] intentionally omitted <==** ## Document Upload Successful ## Document ## **Document Name** N5G0642_1 01_York_Summary-Aqua-FINAL 07 24 2025 1357.pdf **PWS ID Number** NY1302775 ## **DocumentType** Sample **Uploaded By** info@redhooknyvillage.org **Upload Date** 8/8/2025 11:54:57 AM Upload another document Return home
