WHEREAS

  • on September 9, 2013, the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook adopted a local law entitled, "A local law placing a six-month moratorium on all applications for site plan approval in the Village;"
  • the proposed law was erroneously determined to be Local Law No. 3 of 2013;
  • the proposed law was the fourth local law adopted by the Village of Red Hook in the year 2013.

RESOLVED

  • the Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook hereby corrects the clerical error and renumbers "A local law placing a six-month moratorium on all applications for site plan approval in the Village" as Local Law No. 4 of 2013.

RESOLVED clauses: - the Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook onhereby August 29, 2013, setting a public hearing to be held by said Village Board of Trustees on September 9, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. atcorrects the Villageclerical Hall, Red Hook, NY to hear all interested parties on the proposed local law - notice of said public hearing was duly advertised in Daily Freeman, the official newspaper of said Village, which is not less than ten days prior to the date of said public hearing - said public hearing was duly held on September 9, 2013 at said timeerror and place and all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak on behalf of or in opposition to said proposed local law, or any part thereof - the proposed local law constitutes a Type II action for purposes of the State Environmental Quality Review Act pursuant to 6 NYCRR § 617.5(c)(30) - the Village of Red Hook Pattern Book and Architectural Guidelines Committee has presented the Village Board of Trustees with a Pattern Book to guide future development in the Village - the Village Board of the Village of Red Hook desires to amend its Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Law to incorporate the planning and design guidelines in the Pattern Book - The Village Board of the Village of Red Hook, in order to consider, formulate and amend its Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Law, and to reduce the potential adverse effect of the taking of action during the pendency of its planning considerations, finds that it is in the public interest to enact this local law RESOLVED clauses: - the Village Board hereby adopts said Local Law No. 3 of 2013, entitled,renumbers "A local law placing a six-month moratorium on all applications for site plan approval in the Village" - theas VillageLocal ClerkLaw beNo. and she hereby is directed to enter said local law in the minutes4 of this meeting and in the Village Code of the Village of Red Hook, to give due notice of the adoption of said local law to the Secretary of State of New York, and take all other actions as may be required by law2013.
