Water System Improvements Project — Contract Awards

Resolution #14-2012 — 2012-10-18

WHEREAS

  • the Village of Red Hook advertised for bids for the Water System Improvements Project; and
  • bids for each of the contracts have been received and evaluated by the Village Engineer for compliance with the bid specifications and to determine the lowest responsible bidder.

RESOLVED

  • based upon the review of the bid specifications and the bids received the Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook hereby awards the following bids and authorizes the Mayor to execute contracts with: 1. Well field improvements, Contract 1 G, Trinity Construction, Selkirk, NY $459,973.00; 2. Well field improvements, Contract 1 E, Whalen Electric, Kingston, NY $43,500.00; 3. Water meter installation, Contract 2, National Metering, Kearney, NJ $347,770.00.
