WHEREAS

  • the attached amendment to Chapter 195 Water Code was introduced by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook on February 6, 2012
  • a public hearing was held on March 5, 2012, at 7:15 at the Village Hall, 7467 South Broadway, Red Hook, New York, notice of said hearing duly published and at which time all interested parties had an opportunity to be heard
  • the Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook has determined this action to be an Unlisted action based on the criteria found in 6 NYCRR, § 617.4 and has determined that there are no adverse environmental impacts associated with the adoption of this Local Law, and the Village Board hereby issues a Negative Declaration in connection with the adoption of this Local Law

RESOLVED

  • Water charges and penalties thereon shall be a lien upon the real property upon which the water is used and may be collected in accordance with § 11-1118 of the Village Law of the State of New York. This amendment shall take effect immediately upon filing in the office of the Secretary of State in accordance with Section 27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law.
