Adopted Procurement Policy
Effective April 8, 2019, the Village adopted an updated procurement policy replacing all prior procurement policy text, reflecting current NYS limits and modernized internal purchasing thresholds and procedures. The Village Clerk is responsible for distributing the updated policy to Code publishers, department heads, Board members, and other appropriate persons.[4]

Advance Approval of Claims
The Village Board has authorized advance approval of claims and vouchers for Village operations.[3]

Contractor Liability Insurance Minimum
All contractors must maintain a minimum of $2,000,000 in liability insurance, with the Village named as an additional insured.[1]
Contractor Workers' Compensation Certificate
All contractors must have a current (updated) workers' compensation certificate on file with the Village.[1]

Piggybacking Purchases (§50-4.1)
Superseded by footnote 4 (2019 Procurement Policy adoption). Previously, Chapter 50 was amended to add §50-4.1 allowing the Village to purchase through bids solicited by the U.S. Government, New York State, and other political subdivisions subject to specific qualification criteria.[2]
Best Value Purchasing (§50-6.2)
Superseded by footnote 4 (2019 Procurement Policy adoption). Previously, Chapter 50 was amended to add §50-6.2 authorizing the Village to award purchase contracts (excluding capital purchases and public works) on the basis of best value using measurable evaluation criteria, subject to Board determination and documented procurement records.[2]
