RESOLVED

  1. the Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook hereby resolves that this resolution amends Chapter 50 of the Code of the Village of Red Hook titled "Procurement Policy", to authorize purchasing based on best value and to set forth requirements for "piggybacking" purchases as follows
  2. Chapter 50 of the Code of the Village of Red Hook is amended to add a new §50-4.1 addressing Piggybacking, allowing the Village to purchase through bids solicited by the U.S. Government, New York State, and other political subdivisions subject to specific qualification criteria
  3. Chapter 50 of the Code of the Village of Red Hook shall be amended to add §50-6.2 Purchasing Based on Best Value, authorizing the Village to award purchase contracts (excluding capital purchases and public works) on the basis of best value using measurable evaluation criteria, subject to Board determination and documented procurement records
