RESOLVED

  1. Section 190-28 A and B of the Village Code are deleted and replaced as follows: A. No vehicle shall be parked on any village owned street or village right-of-way within the corporate limits of the Village of Red Hook between the hours of 11:00 pm and 6:00 am during the period beginning from November 1 and ending March 31 of each year, both dates inclusive. On the New York State highways Route 9 and Route 199 there shall be no parking from 2:00 am to 6:00 am during the same period. B. When snow and/or ice clearing operations are underway, any vehicle that is parked or abandoned on any street in violation of Subsection A may be removed by or under the direction of the Police Department of the Village of Red Hook or any responding police agency.
  2. This amendment shall take effect immediately upon filing in the office of the Secretary of State in accordance with Section 27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law.
