RESOLVED

  1. the Village Board of Trustees authorizes the temporary restriction of parking as follows: No parking on the North Side of Park Avenue; No parking on either side of Church Street Ext. for 200 ft from Park Avenue; No parking on the East Side of Church Street Ext. after the 200 ft from Park Avenue
  2. a crosswalk will be added across Park Avenue from the sidewalk to the beginning of the path in the Richard M. Abrahams Memorial Park

  • WHEREAS, the only current parking to access these trails is street parking

  • WHEREAS, parking for the Richard M. Abrahams Memorial Park is along Park Avenue
  • WHEREAS, currently parking is allowed by code along both sides of Park Avenue and Church Street Ext.
  • WHEREAS, we don't know how popular the new trail system will be and we want to ensure that emergency vehicles can get through which they cannot if there are cars parked on both sides of Park Avenue
