Storage Tank: At the January Water Board Meeting, the board decided the best approach is to rebuild vs. Rehab. Details are in the minutes of the meeting, which are being reviewed by the Water Board members.

Biofilm Build Up in the Tank: This was also discussed at the Water Board Meeting. Fernando did switch to timer control for a few days to allow higher pump volumes. He tested the resulting overflow for chlorine residual. The result was okay. He will do this monthly. The long-range solution is to purchase and install tank-to-pump communication, either radio or cellular. Dan Valentine will prepare an RFP. We will have the tank inspected in 2025 to ascertain if/when we should purchase a new tank.

Valve Installation: Fernando will look into the installation of a valve in the water main in the Manor/Colonial area. He will also think about how to locate galvanized pipe on south side of Aspinwall. This pipe is no longer used but, is still connected to the water main on the north side. This pipe has leaked in the past, se we should find and disconnect it. Fernando overflowed and checked the chlorine. It was ok. We will repeat in a couple of weeks.

Repair: There was a major leak at Albie & Fir. Two small saddels and connections were replaced.

New Connection: A new connection at Victory Lane off North Drive requires a special meter pit. Long lead times for these! Fernando may be able to find an available pit.
