VILLAGE OF RED HOOK WORKSHOP MEETING MARCH 5, 2020 7 pm
Present: Mayor Blundell, Deputy Mayor Kovalchik, Trustee Trapp Trustee Norris, Trustee Laing was absent and Clerk/Treasurer Chiarella.
Mayor Blundell stated Dutchess County has prepared a link which is on the Village web page under “ Alerts ” for Covid 19.
Budget Discussion:
The last budget meeting is March 12th. Tentative budget is due March 20th, Public Hearing should be before April 15th and the final budget is due by May 1st.
General Fund: Two big requests Truck with plow (gas) $ 44,431 Truck with plow (diesel) $ 53,000 Funds can be taken from Capital Outlay, CHIPS, Water, Highway Reserve M&T and salvage. Will be in the 2021-22 budget.
– Water budget - $ 503,900 which is a decrease of $ 18,100
Sewer budget- $ 49,500
DM KOvalchik made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8 pm. Mayor Blundell seconded this motion. All were in favor.
