RESOLVED

  1. An area variance is granted to allow placement of the proposed 4' x 8' permanent changeable sign, provided that both the sign location parcel and the church location parcel continue to have the same owner
Show preamble — 3 WHEREAS clauses
  • WHEREAS, the applicant, St. John's Reformed Church, seeks an area variance to place a permanent 32 square foot changeable identity sign at 8130 Albany Post Road in the Upper Red Hook Hamlet zoning district
  • WHEREAS, Section 143-27 prohibits off-premises signs and Section 143-27 D (4) limits nonresidential signs in the Hamlet District to a maximum of 8 square feet for single identity signs and 3 square feet for single wall signs
  • WHEREAS, the church currently owns both the parcel where the sign will be located and the parcel where the church is situated
