RESOLVED
- The recitations of the facts and circumstances set forth in all of the preceding "WHEREAS" clauses are expressly incorporated herein and form a part of the terms of this Memorandum of Agreement
- Article 7- Compensation: Section A- Delete the existing language and replace with the following new language: Effective January 1, 2024, all employees will receive a three (3%) percent increase in their hourly rate. No retroactive payments are owed to bargaining unit members based upon this increase. Effective March 1, 2024, all employees will receive a one (1%) percent increase in their hourly rate. Effective January 1, 2025, all employees will receive a three and three quarter (3.75%) percent increase in their hourly rate. Effective January 1, 2026, all employees will receive a two and three quarter (2.75%) percent increase in their hourly rate
- Article 8- Health Insurance: Premium Payment- Delete the existing language and replace with the following new language: Employees hired on or before May 25, 2022, will contribute seventeen percent (17%) of the premium cost towards their applicable Medical Health Care premium (i.e., individual, employee and spouse, employee and children, family). The Town will pay one hundred percent (100%) of the deductible for all plans. Employees hired after May 25, 2022, will pay twenty percent (20%) of the premium cost towards their applicable Medical Health Care premium (i.e., individual, employee and spouse, employee and children, family). The Town will pay one hundred percent (100%) of the deductible for all plans. Effective March 1, 2024, all employees will contribute twenty (20%) percent of the premium cost towards their applicable Medical Health Care premium (i.e., individual, employee and spouse, employee and children, family). The Town will pay one hundred (100%) percent of the deductible for all plans. Effective January 1, 2025, all employees will contribute twenty-one (21%) percent of the premium cost towards their applicable Medical Health Care premium (i.e., individual, employee and spouse, employee and children, family). - WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook (further known as "Town") and United Public Service Employees Union (further known as "UPSEU") are signatories to a Collective Bargaining Agreement (further known as "CBA") which expired December 31, 2023
- WHEREAS, the parties have engaged in good faith negotiations in an effort to arrive at a successor CBA
- WHEREAS, the parties have reached a tentative agreement covering the period of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2026
- WHEREAS, the parties hereto agree that the current CBA and all its terms and conditions of employment set forth shall remain in full force and effect except as herein modified
- WHEREAS, unless otherwise noted, all changes shall be prospective from the ratification of this Memorandum of Agreement
- WHEREAS, this Memorandum of Agreement is subject to the approval of the Town of Red Hook and the ratification of the membership of the UPSEU
- WHEREAS, each respective negotiating committee agrees to recommend the Memorandum of Agreement for approval and ratification
