RESOLVED

  1. The LOSAP Intermunicipal Agreement Amendment is hereby approved, and the Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such amendment in substantially the form attached hereon, subject to such changes as shall be approved by the Supervisor and as shall not change the substance thereof

  • WHEREAS, The Village of Tivoli adopted a resolution approved at a referendum on October 24, 2023, providing for amendment of the defined contribution plan as described in the LOSAP Program Plan for the Tivoli Fire Department (the "Tivoli LOSAP") to increase the annual contribution for eligible volunteers from $500 to $1200 as permitted by Article 11-A of the General Municipal Law
  • WHEREAS, the Village of Red Hook adopted a resolution approved at a referendum on October 24, 2023, providing for amendment of the defined contribution plan as described in the Program Plan for the Red Hook Fire Department (the "Red Hook" LOSAP) to increase the annual contribution for eligible volunteers from $500 to $1200 as permitted by Article 11-A of the General Municipal Law
  • WHEREAS, the Village of Tivoli, the Village of Red Hook and the Town of Red Hook entered into an Intermunicipal Agreement Regarding LOSAP Administration dated as of the 21st day of September, 2007 (the "LOSAP IMA")
  • WHEREAS, an amendment to the LOSAP IMA (the "LOSAP IMA Amendment") has been prepared and placed on file with the Town Clerk which would acknowledge the increase in the annual contribution for eligible volunteers and provide that the parties intend that the total cost of the Tivoli LOSAP and Red Hook LOSAP are to be borne by the Town of Red Hook pursuant to fire service contracts with a fixed annual payment which takes into account the LOSAP costs
  • WHEREAS, for any calendar year, the parties intend that the costs of the Tivoli LOSAP and the Red Hook LOSAP are to be borne by the Town of Red Hook
