RESOLVED
- The Supervisor or in his absence or unavailability the Deputy Supervisor, is authorized to execute and submit the Grant Application, with the Town of Red Hook as applicant, for a Local government Efficiency Grant
- The officers, employees and agents of the Town are hereby authorized and directed for and in the name of and on behalf of the Town to do all acts and things as may be necessary or, in the opinion of the officer, employee or agent acting, desirable and proper to effect the purposes of the foregoing resolution
- This resolution shall take effect immediately

- WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook ("Town") and the Village of Red Hook ("Village") have entered into a shared services agreement to provide for sewer services and municipal sewer infrastructure in support of the development of affordable workforce housing, addressing septic system discharges, and development within the Traditional Neighborhood Development District consistent with the Centers and Greenspaces plan
- WHEREAS, additional funding is required to offset costs of necessary infrastructure
- WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Town to submit an application on behalf of the Town and Village for a Local Government Efficiency Grant in a total amount of up to $500,000 to finance a portion of the cost of a proposed project for municipal sewer infrastructure pursuant to a shared sewer service agreement ("Grant Application")
