RESOLVED
- the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook does hereby agree to the settlement and to the entry of the consent judgment for reduction of assessment for Petitioner
- the Supervisor and the Town's other officers, employees and agents are hereby authorized and directed for, and in the name and on behalf of the Town, to carry out the provisions of the consent judgment
- the Attorney for the Town is authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary to effectuate this resolution

- WHEREAS, 7 Pines LLC ("Petitioner"), with real property located in the Town of Red Hook, commenced proceedings pursuant to Article 7 of the Real Property Tax Law challenging the assessment on property located in the Town of Red Hook, Dutchess County, New York and designated as 6271-00-699958 and 6272-00-926196 on the Official Assessment Map of the Town of Red Hook for the tax year 2018
- WHEREAS, the parties have agreed to settle the proceedings whereby the assessment on the parcels which are the subject of the proceedings will be reduced, corrected and fixed for the 2018 tax assessment roll
- WHEREAS, a consent judgment has been presented to the Town of Red Hook for reduction of the assessment roll for 2018, as follows: Tax Map No. 6271-00-699958 (Norton Road): 2018 – from $373,300 to $198,800, for a total reduction of $174,500; and Tax Map No. 6272-00-926196 (Norton Road): 2018 – from $376,300 to $304,000, for a total reduction of $72,300; and which consent judgment provides that all tax refunds are to be paid with interest pursuant to Section 726 of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York, except that in the event the refund of taxes is paid within ninety (90) days from the date of a service of a copy of the consent judgment with notice of entry, then interest is waived
