RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board of the Town of Red Hook shall hold a public hearing on September 25, 2024, at 7:40 p.m. at the Town Hall, 7340 South Broadway, Red Hook, New York, to hear all interested parties on said Proposed Local Law
  2. The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of said public hearing in the Poughkeepsie Journal, the official newspaper of said Town, on or before September 20, 2024, which is not less than five calendar days prior to the date of said public hearing.

  • WHEREAS, a proposed form of Local Law No. B (Proposed) of 2024 entitled "A LOCAL LAW ENACTING A NEW CHAPTER 110 ENTITLED SEWERS" ("Proposed Local Law") has been submitted to the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook
  • WHEREAS, the Proposed Local Law enacts a new Chapter 110 of the Town Code to provide for efficient, economic, environmentally safe, and legal operation of the Town of Red Hook Sewer District #1 sewer district collection system, to comply with applicable requirements of the intermunicipal agreement with Village of Red Hook for discharge to the Village's treatment plant, and to enact regulations regarding wastewater disposal to protect the health and safety of the Town of Red Hook
  • WHEREAS, pursuant to the New York State Municipal Home Rule Law, the Town Board has determined that the proposed local law constitutes a SEQR Type II action
