RESOLVED
- that the Town Board does hereby approve and endorse the Project
- that the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook does hereby authorize the Town of Red Hook to pay in the first instance 100% of the federal share and the non-federal share of the cost of the Project, with the understanding that qualified costs may be eligible for federal-aid, state-aid, or reimbursement from Bridge NY funds
- that an application for additional 80/20 STIP funds in the amount of $560,000 in federal funds subject to a $140,000 local match representing 20% of the total application, is hereby authorized and approved
- that the additional sum of $140,000 is hereby appropriated from Unappropriated A Fund and made available to cover the local match for such application, so that the total local match includes the 5% match of $84,390 for Grant 1, the 20% match of $143,700 for Grant 2, and this 20% match of $140,000 for Grant 3
- that in the event the Project costs not covered by federal-aid, state-aid, or NY Bridge funding or TIP funding exceed the amount appropriated above, the Town of Red Hook Board shall convene as soon as possible to appropriate said excess amount immediately upon the notification by the Town Supervisor thereof
- that Town of Red Hook hereby agrees that construction of the Project shall begin no later than twenty-four (24) months after award and the construction phase of the Project shall be completed within thirty (30) months
- that the Supervisor of the Town of Red Hook be and is hereby authorized to execute all necessary agreements, certifications or reimbursement requests for Federal Aid and/or applicable Marchiselli Aid on behalf of the Town of Red Hook with the New York State Department of Transportation in connection with the advancement or approval of the Project and providing for the administration of the Project and the municipality's first instance funding of Project costs and permanent funding of the local share of federal-aid and state-aid eligible Project costs and all Project costs within appropriations therefor that are not so eligible
- that in addition to the Town Supervisor, the Deputy Supervisor is also hereby authorized to execute any necessary agreements or certifications on behalf of the Town of Red Hook, with NYSDOT in connection with the advancement or approval of the Project identified in the State/Local Agreement
- that in addition to the Town Supervisor and the Deputy Supervisor, the Town Bookkeeper is also hereby authorized to execute any necessary certifications on behalf of the Town of Red Hook, in connection with the advancement or approval of the Project
- that a certified copy of this resolution be filed with the New York State Commissioner of Transportation by attaching it to any necessary Agreement in connection with the Project
- this Resolution shall take effect immediately

- WHEREAS, a project for the Red Hook Saw Kill Road Bridge Replacement, Town of Red Hook, Dutchess County, BPIN 2262850, P.I.N. 8762.65 (the "Project"), has been approved for funding under Title 23 U.S. Code, as amended, Bridge NY program that calls for the apportionment of the costs of such program to be borne at the ratio of 95% Federal funds and 5% non-federal funds, with a federal amount capped at $1,603,410 and a local share of $84,390 (Grant 1)
- WHEREAS, the Town has qualified for additional funding under the Dutchess County Statewide Transportation Improvement 80/20 Program (Grant 2) with an additional federal amount of $574,790 and a 20% local match of $143,700
- WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook desires to apply through the Dutchess County Transportation Council's Statewide Transportation Improvement 80/20 Program for additional funds (Grant 3) to assist in providing for the cost of a portion of the cost of the Project
- WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook desires to advance the Project by making a commitment of 100% of the non-federal share of the costs of the project, or portions thereof
