RESOLVED
- the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook does hereby authorize the Supervisor to proceed with negotiations regarding a proposed professional engineering contract with the highest ranked proposer for the Project in accordance with the procedures required by the PLAFAP, provided that approval and execution of a final contract remains subject to approval by the Town Board in its discretion.

- WHEREAS, a project for the Red Hook Saw Kill Road Bridge Replacement, Town of Red Hook, Dutchess County, BIN 2262850, DOT PIN 8762.65(the "Project"), is eligible for funding under Title 23 U.S. Code, as amended, that calls for the apportionment of the costs of such program to be borne at the ratio of 95% Federal funds in the amount of $1,603,410 and 5% non-federal funds in the amount of $84,390
- WHEREAS, the Town is required to comply with the applicable requirements of the Procedures for Locally Administered Federal-Aid Projects ("PLAFAP") manual, including Section 6.4 of Chapter 6 thereof, for procurement of services in connection with a federal aid project
- WHEREAS, pursuant to such required procedures the Town initiated a Request for Supplemental Expressions of Interest dated June 8, 2022 for Preliminary Engineering, Detailed Design Service, Right of Way Incidentals, Right of Way Acquisition, Construction, and Construction Support and/or Inspection for the Project to each firm designated on the applicable Region 8 LDSA list
- WHEREAS, the Town received 6 responses on or before June 30, 2022, and pursuant to such procedures the selection committee designated for such purpose conducted a detailed review of the responses received, conducted interviews with the 3 highest ranked proposers, and prepared a summary ranking of the firms based on the selection criteria identified in the RFQ and in accordance with the PLAFAP manual and identified a proposed firm
