RESOLVED

  1. the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook hereby confirms that references in the Town Code to the Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code shall mean the Uniform Code, and references in the Town Code to the Energy Conservation Construction Code shall mean the Energy Code, in each case as of the effective date set forth herein

  • WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 74 of the Town Code, the Town of Red Hook provides for the administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and the State Energy Conservation Code in the Town of Red Hook
  • WHEREAS, pursuant to a Notice of Adoption filed September 16, 2025 published in the New York State Register October 1, 2025, the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code has been amended effective December 31, 2025 (as amended, the "Uniform Code"), provided that such notice indicates that during the transition period between adoption of the state rule and the date on which the changes to the Uniform Code become effective, a person shall have the option of complying with either the provisions of the Uniform Code as changed, or with the provisions of the Uniform Code in effect immediately prior to the adoption of such rule
  • WHEREAS, pursuant to a Notice of Adoption filed September 16, 2025 published in the New York State Register October 1, 2025, the New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code has been amended effective December 31, 2025 (the "Energy Code")
  • WHEREAS, copies of the Uniform Code and Energy Code are on file in the office of the Building Department
