RESOLVED

  1. The Town hereby authorizes the purchase of the Chipper Truck pursuant to the terms and conditions of proposal on file with the Town Clerk at a purchase price of not to exceed $171,841.54 as set forth in the proposal on file with the Town Clerk
  2. Supervisor Robert McKeon, or in his absence Deputy Supervisor William Hamel, is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract on the terms and conditions set forth therein. Such contract shall be approved by the officer executing such contract consistent with the terms of this resolution. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

  • WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook Highway Superintendent has recommended the purchase of a 2026 Freightliner M2 106 Plus medium duty truck chassis with arborist body ("Chipper Truck") for use as a chipper truck and cold patch vehicle at a purchase price of $171,841.54, as provided in the proposal on file with the Town Clerk
  • WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has reviewed and confirmed the proposed pricing is consistent with the Sourcewell contract 032824-DAI and the piggyback provisions of Town's Purchasing and Procurement Policy, as set forth in the procurement documents on file with the Town Clerk
  • WHEREAS, the proposed vehicle would replace 2002 International 4700
  • WHEREAS, the purchase is proposed to be made from the HT Equipment line and balance of CHIPS funds
