RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board has no objection to the Village of Red Hook serving as lead agency for SEQR review of the Village's Phase II Sewer Expansion Project.
  2. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
Show preamble — 2 WHEREAS clauses
  • WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees for the Village of Red Hook ("Village") has notified the Town of Red Hook that the Village is undertaking a proposed action to expand its public sewer system including the second phase of a two-phased project, where the first phase was completed in 2023 and involved installation of a STEP sewer system serving 150 properties along the Route 9 and Route 199 corridors, and proposing to add 170 properties to the system and increase treatment capacity at the wastewater treatment plant to 300,000 gpd
  • WHEREAS, the Village has provided an Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) dated July 15, 2024 for such action and adopted a resolution determining the action is Type I and stating its intent to serve as lead agency for such action
