RESOLVED
- The Town Board hereby determines that the proposed action is a Type I action under SEQRA
- The Town Board hereby declares its intent to assume lead agency status in connection with a coordinated SEQRA review of this proposed action and hereby instructs the Town Clerk to circulate notice of its intent to all interested and involved agencies identified in the EAF, together with copies of the EAF
- A Determination of Significance will be made at such time as all reasonably necessary information has been received by the Town Board to enable it to determine whether the action will or will not have a significant effect on the environment
- The Town Board authorizes the Town Supervisor to discharge any other SEQR responsibilities as are required by 6 NYCRR 617 in this regard.

- WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook approved the acquisition of land and interests in land on the Cookingham Farm west of Albany Post Road (US Route 9), using funds from the Red Hook Community Preservation Fund and Red Hook Open Space Incentive Zoning Program for the purpose of preserving important farmlands. The Town has placed a conservation easement on 72.206 acres of the lands acquired and seeks to subdivide and convey a portion of the lands, including the lands subject to the conservation easement
- WHEREAS, there has been prepared and submitted to the Town an Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) for the action dated August 23, 2023
- WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed the thresholds for Type I and Type II actions set forth in 6 NYCRR 617.4 and 617.5
- WHEREAS, the Town Board has performed a preliminary review of the EAF
