RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board hereby approves the submission of a grant application for a total grant amount of up to $63,820 for a natural resources inventory
  2. Supervisor Robert McKeon is hereby authorized and directed to execute any documents that are necessary to facilitate the grant application

  • WHEREAS, NYS is offering grants for municipalities through its Hudson River Estuary Program
  • WHEREAS, the CAC has recommended that the Town apply for a grant for preparation of a natural resources inventory within the Town that compiles, describes and maps important natural resources in the Town, including a narrative component, a map set and an online mapping tool, municipal scenic, cultural, historical and agricultural resources and recommendations for critical habitats in the Town, in the amount of $63,820 with a required match of 15%, for an estimated total project cost of $73,698
  • WHEREAS, the application constitutes a Type II action as defined under the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations, 6 NYCRR Part 617, which has been determined under SEQR not to have a significant impact on the environment
