RESOLVED

  1. by the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook (by the favorable vote of not less than a majority of all of the members of the Board) as follows: The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice of public hearing regarding the proposed increase of water rates and charges in the Poughkeepsie Journal, the official newspaper of said Town, on or before September 19, 2024, which is not less than five days prior to the date of said public hearing
  2. The Town Board of the Town of Red Hook shall hold a public hearing on September 24, 2025, at 7:35 p.m. at the Town Hall, 7340 South Broadway, Red Hook, New York, to hear all interested parties on said water rates and charges increase

  • WHEREAS, the Red Hook Water Board has recommended modification of the water rates and charges to increase the minimum rate on file with the Town Clerk, in order to produce revenues sufficient to pay the necessary costs and expenses of the operation and maintenance of the Water District facilities for the production, storage and distribution of water
  • WHEREAS, there is on file with the Town Clerk a proposed Schedule attached hereto providing for an annual increase of approximately 5% for Water District #1 rates and changes
