RESOLVED
- The Climate Smart Communities Task Force is hereby continued for the purpose of promoting and supporting climate mitigation and adaptation in the Town.
- The CSC Task Force shall have 5 members to be appointed annually by the Town Board. Membership shall consist of municipal representatives and community members and shall include at least one member of the CAC, at least one member of the Energy Committee, and at least one municipal staff or elected official. The CSC Task Force shall have a chair to be appointed by the Town Board. The CSC Task Force shall meet at least twice annually.
- One member of the Climate Smart Communities Task Force, who may be Chair of the CSC Task Force, shall be appointed by the Town Board as CSC Coordinator. The CSC Coordinator shall: (a) Document and coordinate the activities that will lead to Red Hook's Climate Smart Community re-certification; (b) Serve as a liaison to the Town Board, CAC, and community organizations in Red Hook focused on sustainability, land use, agriculture, and energy; (c) Provide regular reports to the Conservation Advisory Council on activities and progress achieved; (d) Ensure that CSC Task Force activities, including meeting attendance and records of actions taken at meetings, are recorded in the monthly minutes of the Conservation Advisory Council and posted publicly on the Town website; (e) Coordinate with Cornell Cooperative Extension to ensure that the CSC recertification efforts are in line with the standards of the previous submission.

- WHEREAS, the Town is a registered Climate Smart Community and is committed to advancing sustainability, resilience and environmental stewardship
