RESOLVED

  1. The Supervisor or in his absence or unavailability the Deputy Supervisor, is authorized to execute and submit the Grant Application, with the Town of Red Hook as applicant, for an Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation Recreational Trails Program grant in the amount of $300,000 with a minimum required match of 20% of the total project to be funded
  2. The officers, employees and agents of the Town are hereby authorized and directed for and in the name of and on behalf of the Town to do all acts and things as may be necessary or, in the opinion of the officer, employee or agent acting, desirable and proper to effect the purposes of the foregoing resolution
  3. This resolution shall take effect immediately

  • WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Town of Red Hook ("Town") to submit an application for an Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation ("OPRHP") Recreational Trails Program ("RTP") grant ("Grant Application") to finance a component the Saw Kill trail link project for the construction of a new bicycle and pedestrian bridge over the Saw Kill River, creating a connection between the Town's Cookingham Farm Trail to the existing Red Hook Rec Park and Village 2 Village trail network
