RESOLVED

  1. the Town Board hereby determines that the proposed actions constitute a Type I action under SEQRA
  2. the Town Board hereby declares itself Lead Agency for the review of this action, as it is the only involved agency
  3. a Determination of Significance will be made at such time as all reasonably necessary information has been received by the Town Board to enable it to determine whether the action will or will not have a significant effect on the environment

  • WHEREAS, there have been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook ("Town Board") proposed amendments to the subtitle "Light Industrial Use" on pages 22 and 23 of the Comprehensive Plan
  • WHEREAS, there has been presented to Town Board a form of Local Law E (Proposed) of 2019 entitled "A Local Law to Amend the Zoning Law Addressing Natural Resource Protection"
  • WHEREAS, a Full Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) and a Coastal Assessment Form (CAF) dated May 14, 2019 were prepared for the proposed actions in the forms on file with the Town Clerk
  • WHEREAS, the Town Board has reviewed the thresholds for Type I and Type II actions set forth in 6 NYCRR 617.4 and 617.5
  • WHEREAS, after examining the EAF and CAF the Town Board has determined that there are no other involved and/or federal agencies on this matter since no other agency has approval authority with respect to the proposed actions
