RESOLVED

  1. The Supervisor is authorized to accept the bid of A. Colarusso & Son, Inc. at a total price of $331,419 for the Project including Alternate 1, and to execute a contract in such the form provided by the specifications, subject to the provision of a certificate of insurance and bonds and such further documentation as required by the bid specifications.

  • WHEREAS, the Town issued a notice of public bids dated April 25, 2024, for the acceptance of sealed bids for the "Cookingham Trails Project," Contract No. 27-5004-039, in the Town (the "Project")
  • WHEREAS, specifications for the Project were prepared by T&B Engineering, P.C., a professional corporation organized under the laws of the State of New York
  • WHEREAS, sealed bids for the Project were publicly opened and read at Town Hall at 10:00 a.m. on May 22, 2024, after due notice pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, with bids received as set forth on the tabulation included in the engineer's recommendation letter on file with the Town Clerk
  • WHEREAS, the one bid received unsealed as described in the bid tabulation and recommendation is rejected as noncompliant with the bid documents
  • WHEREAS, the bid of A. Colarusso & Son, Inc. in the amount of $457,503 for the base bid, and Alternate 1 with a deduction of $84,056 and $42,028, for a total contract price of $331,419 for the Project, has been determined to be the lowest responsible bid for such work as specified in the specifications on file with the Clerk
