RESOLVED
- The Town Board of the Town of Red Hook shall hold a public hearing on August 29, 2022, at 7:35 p.m. at the Town Hall, 7340 South Broadway, Red Hook, New York, to hear all interested parties on said Proposed Local Law
- The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of said public hearing in the Poughkeepsie Journal, the official newspaper of said Town, on or before August 19, 2022, which is not less than five calendar days prior to the date of said public hearing
- The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to send a copy of the Proposed Local Law to the Planning Board, together with the Coastal Assessment Form, for its recommendations regarding consistency with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan

- WHEREAS, a proposed form of Local Law No. C (Proposed) of 2022 entitled "A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 131, VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, TO INCLUDE PROVISIONS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TRUCK ROUTE SYSTEM ON CERTAIN HIGHWAYS IN THE TOWN OF RED HOOK" ("Proposed Local Law") has been submitted to the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook
- WHEREAS, the Proposed Local Law would create a Truck Route System whereby trucks, commercial vehicles, tractors and tractor-trailer combinations having a total gross weight in excess of ten thousand (10,000) pounds would be permitted to use specifically enumerated highways within the Truck Route System and would be excluded from all other highways in the Town, notwithstanding certain stated exceptions
- WHEREAS, part of the Truck Route System is located within the Coastal Area, as defined in Section 68-4 of the Town Code
- WHEREAS, pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act ("SEQRA"), the Town Board has reviewed an Environmental Assessment Form (EAF), in the form on file with the Town Clerk, and has determined that the proposed local law constitutes an unlisted action
- WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 68-12 of the Town Code, the Town Board must determine that its actions within the Coastal Area are consistent with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) policy standards and conditions by preparing a Coastal Assessment Form (CAF) and referring a copy of the CAF to the Waterfront Advisory Committee for its review
- WHEREAS, a CAF has been prepared in the form on file with the Town Clerk
