RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board of the Town of Red Hook shall hold a public hearing on June 28, 2023, at 7:35 p.m. at the Town Hall, 7340 South Broadway, Red Hook, New York, to hear all interested parties on said Proposed Local Law
  2. The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of said public hearing in the Poughkeepsie Journal, the official newspaper of said Town, on or before June 18, 2023, which is not less than ten calendar days prior to the date of said public hearing.

  • WHEREAS, a proposed form of Local Law entitled "Local Law No. E (Proposed) of 2023; A local law amending Chapter 131 of the Code of the Town of Red Hook, entitled 'Vehicles and Traffic,' to add a new Stop on Elm Street at Aspinwall" (the "Proposed Local Law") has been submitted to the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook
  • WHEREAS, the Proposed Local Law would modify certain provisions of the Code to designate an additional stop intersection on Elm Street, southbound at Aspinwall Road, as recommended by the Town Highway Superintendent
  • WHEREAS, pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR), the Town Board has determined that the proposed local law is best described as a local legislative decision concerning routine administration and management under the State Environmental Quality Review Act and that adoption of this Local Law constitutes a Type II action which will not have a significant effect on the environment
