RESOLVED

  1. Acceptance of the Easements is hereby authorized, subject to the delivery of a temporary construction easement and conveyance documents in form and substance approved by the Attorney for the Town and the Town Engineer
  2. The Supervisor is authorized and directed to execute the Easements and the Supervisor and the officers, employees and agents of the Town may take all steps reasonable and necessary, in consultation with the Attorney for the Town, to implement the intent of this Resolution.

  • WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook has need of temporary construction easements ("Easements") for the Recreation Park Fruit Bud Connector which provides for the addition of a walkway connecting the east and west Recreation Park areas (the "Project"), as described in the specifications prepared by the Tighe & Bond dated June 6, 2023, a copy of which is on file with the Town Clerk
  • WHEREAS, The Project documents submitted by Tighe & Bond dated June 6, 2023 outline the need for the Easements and the easement areas
  • WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the owners of the property included in the temporary easement areas grant to the Town temporary construction easements in order to complete construction of the Project
  • WHEREAS, the acceptance of the Easements is in the best interest of the Town, subject to the conditions set forth therein
