RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board hereby adopts the findings and conclusions relating to probable environmental effects contained with the attached supplemental EAF and Negative Declaration concluding that the conveyance of the parcels described above for development of affordable housing will not have an adverse impact on the environment.
  2. The Supervisor is authorized to execute the EAF and file the Negative Declaration in accordance with the applicable provisions of law.
  3. The Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to distribute a copy of this resolution to all interested agencies, the Town Supervisor, and any person that has requested a copy and to make all other filings required by law.

  • WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted February 22, 2023, the Town Board determined that the preservation of a portion of the Cookingham Farm in Red Hook for open space purposes and for potential future development of affordable housing in accordance with the Town of Red Hook Community Preservation Plan and Town of Red Hook Incentive Zoning programs as well as the Town's established land use and development policies would not have a significant adverse impact on the environment
  • WHEREAS, as lead agency for a Type I action, the Town Board has reviewed a supplemental Full Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) for the proposed conveyance of an approximately 12 acre portion of the former Cookingham Farm property known as Tax ID 134801-6272-07-581864-0000, Parcel 4 shown on FM 12979, for development of affordable housing as contemplated in connection with its acquisition
  • WHEREAS, the Town Board has reviewed a draft negative declaration setting forth reasons supporting a determination that the proposed action will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment
