RESOLVED
- The Supervisor, or in his absence or unavailability the Deputy Supervisor, is hereby authorized and directed to execute a purchase order with Fenton Mobility Products Inc., subject to all terms and conditions provided in OGS Contract 22306, including all terms and conditions of the DOT Grant, at the base price of $84,479 plus the accepted options detailed on the attached worksheet at the price of $3,600, for a total aggregate purchase price of $88,079, and subject to the provision of a certificate of insurance and such further documentation as required by the specifications.
- Payment or reimbursement for the cost of the Project is authorized to be made from the proceeds of the Grants and the balance is hereby appropriated from the General A Fund.
- The offices, employees and agents of the Town are hereby authorized and directed for and in the name and on behalf of the Town to do all things necessary or convenient in furtherance of this resolution.

- WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook has been selected to receive a NYS DOT grant in the amount of $113,187 ("DOT Grant") and an Ascienzo Foundation Grant in the amount of $50,000 (collectively the "Grants") for a portion of the cost of acquisition of two electric vans for transporting senior citizens and mobility challenged individuals (the "Project")
- WHEREAS, NYS DOT notified the Town of the opportunity to procure an electric van through NYS OGS Contract Award 23306, as a pilot order subject to DOT review and acceptance, from Fenton Mobility Products Inc., OGS Contract Number PC70593, Lot B-EV as specified in the OGS contract terms and conditions
- WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Town to procure the electric van pursuant to such OGS award through the DOT pilot procedure
