RESOLVED

  1. The Town Supervisor, or in his absence or unavailability the Deputy Supervisor, is authorized to submit an application to the Department of Environmental Conservation for grant funding in an amount not to exceed $1,125,000 to fund a portion of the costs of the Project.
  2. The officers, employees, and agents of the Town are hereby authorized and directed, for and in the name and on behalf of the Town, to do all acts and things as may be necessary or, in the opinion of the officer, employee, or agent acting, desirable and proper to effect the purposes of this resolution.

  • WHEREAS, the Town Board desires to submit a grant application to the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation under the Water Quality Improvement Project (WQIP) program to fund a portion of the costs of replacing the Willets East and Willets West culverts (the "Project"), with an estimated cost of $1,500,000, and such program may cover a maximum of 75% of the proposed project cost
