RESOLVED

  1. the First Amendment to the Interconnection Agreement between the Village of Red Hook and the Town of Red Hook is hereby approved for a term ending November 1, 2028
  2. the Supervisor of the Town is hereby authorized and directed to execute the First Amendment to the Interconnection Agreement and such other documents necessary in connection with such Agreement in substantially the form on file with the Clerk, with such insubstantial changes as may be approved by the Supervisor

  • WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook on behalf of its Water District #1, and the Village of Red Hook are parties to an Intermunicipal Agreement dated as of November 1, 1991 to provide interconnection of public water samples for emergency backup purposes
  • WHEREAS, General Municipal Law Section 119-o authorizes municipal corporations to enter into agreements for the performance among themselves or one for the other of their respective functions, powers and duties on a contract basis
  • WHEREAS, the Village has proposed a First Amendment in the form on file with the Town Clerk to extend the terms of the Interconnection Agreement
