RESOLVED

  1. The Agreement between the Town and Consultant is hereby approved.
  2. The Supervisor of the Town, or in his absence or unavailability the Deputy Supervisor, is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement between the Town and Consultant. Such Agreement shall be in substantially the form on file with the Clerk, with such insubstantial changes as may be approved by the officer executing the same.

  • WHEREAS, a project for the Red Hook Saw Kill Road Bridge Replacement, Town of Red Hook, Dutchess County, BIN 2262850, DOT PIN 8762.65 (the "Project"), is eligible for funding under Title 23 U.S. Code.
  • WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook ("Town") issued a Request for Expressions of Interest for Engineering Services dated June 8, 2022 for services in connection with the Project funded through New York State Department of Transportation ("NYSDOT"), with such request being submitted to all Region 8 LDSA consultants.
  • WHEREAS, the Town has negotiated an agreement for services of Hudson Valley Engineering Associates, PC dba HVEA Engineers ("Consultant") in accordance with the procedures required by NYSDOT.
  • WHEREAS, after review of the proposals received, the Town Board has determined to enter into an Architectural/Engineering Consultant Agreement for Professional Engineering Services between the Consultant and the Town, in substantially the form on file with the Town Clerk ("Agreement"), to provide professional engineering services needed for the Project as stated in the Agreement.
