Resolution text

RESOLVED

  1. The following financial institutions shall be Official Depositaries of the Town for all Town monies for 2019: M&T Bank, The Bank of Greene County, Key Bank National Association
  2. Pursuant to Section 64 of the Town Law, the following offices are authorized to maintain a petty cash fund in the following amounts: Town Clerk/Receiver $500.00
  3. The Town Board does hereby establish the following salaries for elected officials for 2019: Supervisor $30,696; Town Board Members (each) $8,618; Town Clerk $55,407; Town Justices (each) $17,722; Highway Superintendent $65,072
  4. The Town Board does hereby establish the mileage reimbursement rate of $0.58 per mile for those Town officials and employees who incur official mileage when obligated to drive their own vehicles on Town business or when a Town vehicle is not available, subject to adjustment to be consistent with IRS rates
  5. The Town Board does hereby authorize the execution of a blanket bond in lieu of individual undertaking pursuant to Section 11(2) of the Public Officers Law for all officers and employees who collect money
  6. The Town Board does hereby authorize the following to sign bank checks for all Town business: (i) Supervisor Robert McKeon; (ii) in his absence Deputy Supervisor Bill O'Neill; and (iii) in the absence of the Supervisor and Deputy Supervisor, any of the Board Members Harry Colgan, Sarah Imboden or Christine Kane
  7. The Town Board does hereby authorize and direct the Supervisor to submit to the Town Clerk within 60 days after the close of the fiscal year, or such later date as may be required for filing with the State Comptroller, a copy of the Supervisor's report to the State Comptroller; and the Town Clerk shall cause a summary of such report to be published within 10 days of filing in the official newspaper of the Town
  8. The Town Board does hereby approve the Procurement Policy in the form on file with the Town Clerk as recommended by the Purchasing Officer
  9. The Town Board does hereby approve the Investment Policy in the form on file with the Town Clerk

  1. Regular meetings of the Board will take place throughout the year 2019 on the following days in each month, at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall: Second Tuesday and Fourth Wednesday. (Additional Special Meetings may be scheduled and announced by posting the announcement at the Town Hall as required by Chapter 22 of the Town Code, and with notification to the press as required by the Public Officers Law.)
  2. The Official Newspaper of the Town for 2019 shall be the Poughkeepsie Journal.
